Alcohol Addiction
The Effects of Alcohol

Alcohol consumption initially enhances the effect of GABA (the neurotransmitter that produces feelings of relaxation and calm), but chronic consumption eventually suppressed GABA, which then requires more and more alcohol to produce the desired effect. This builds a tolerance to the alcohol and leads to heavier drinking.

Trying to quit on your own can not only be hard, but the withdrawal symptoms, which may include anything from headaches, sweating, insomnia, anxiety and the shakes to more severe complications such as confusion, hallucinations, nausea/vomiting, seizures, delirium tremens (DT's) and irregular heartbeats, can actually be life threatening. Alcohol withdrawal symptoms can worsen rapidly, therefore it is important to seek professional/medical help if even mild symptoms occur.

Laser Therapy Can Help You End The Addiction

At a certified laser technician will apply Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), otherwise known as a soft or cold laser, to release endorphins naturally, using your own body chemistry. Endorphins are released in our bodies during exercise, excitement, pain and sexual activity. They are our body's natural pain killers. They reduce the sensation of pain and help us to feel better emotionally. This endorphin rush, will increase over the first 12 to 24 hours and dissipate very slowly over a period of weeks. As you are constantly receiving this rush of endorphins it minimizes (if not completely eliminates) physical cravings. This takes care of the physical addiction. In addition, we also include is a program of natural supplements that will help with detoxification and ease (if not completely eliminate) the withdrawal symptoms you would normally experience when trying to quit on your own.

Alcohol Addiction Testimonial (clip):

"I tried to overcome the drinking on my own by staying away from bars, parties, and even my closest friends in an attempt to 'fix' the problem. This would work for a short period of time but before long I was slowly dragging myself back into it, damaging my health, my relationship with my family members, and most important I was hurting the woman that meant the world to me. Once that first (laser) session was completed I knew that alcohol was no longer going to be able to control my life. If it was not for the treatment I would surely have lost a wonderful woman, my family and without a doubt my life."
